My friend Hannah mailed me her copy of The Memory Keeper’s Daughter back in the fall because she said something about the book reminded her of me.
Insert a thousand heart smiley faces here. (Because I love my friend Hannah, and I love snail mail, and I love books, and I love that she was thinking of me.)
One of the first things I noticed about this book is its rich imagery. Edwards is incredible at writing descriptions and she absolutely brought me to each time and place she was describing.
I appreciated that the storyline was different, and also that mostĀ of it takes in Lexington, Kentucky.
So if you are looking for a slow beautiful read, pick up The Memory Keeper’s Daughter and you won’t regret it.
Happy Monday, friends!
